Les juges ont annoncé mercredi qu’ils entendraient les débats le 10 janvier sur la question de savoir si la loi restreindrait la liberté d’expression, ce qui violerait le premier amendement de la Constitution américaine.
La loi TikTok, que le Congrès a approuvée en avril, fixe au 19 janvier la date limite pour vendre TikTok sous peine d’une interdiction américaine.
Le réseau social populaire compte plus de 170 millions d’utilisateurs aux États-Unis. On ne sait pas encore combien de temps il faudra à la Cour suprême pour rendre sa décision.
