Johnny Docteur, cadre du ministère des finances, est recherché par la Direction Centrale de la Police Judiciaire (DCPJ), dans le cadre de la poursuite de l’enquête sur la cargaison d’armes et de munitions impliquant l’Église Épiscopale d’Haïti (EEH). Un avis de recherche a été émis contre lui par l’institution policière.
Selon la Police nationale d’Haïti (PNH), Johnny Docteur, ancien chef du service des franchises et actuel Assistant-Directeur du MEF, est recherché pour trafic illicite d’armes à feu, blanchiment des avoirs, fausse monnaie, fraude fiscale, évasion fiscale, contrebande et association de malfaiteurs.
L’affaire de trafic d’armes au sein de l’église épiscopale d’Haïti remonte au 4 juillet 2022, où une cargaison d’armes et de munitions destinées à l’Eglise épiscopale d’Haïti a été découverte à la douane du Port-au-Prince.
Le père Frantz Cole, Secrétaire exécutif diocésain de l’EEH, le père Fritz Désiré ainsi que le comptable de l’église, Jean Gilles Jean Mary ont été arrêtés par la police pour trafic d’armes alors que l’ancien chef des opérations de l’église, le Zimbabwéen Shikumbuzo Vundla, est activement recherché par la DCPJ.
Selon un rapport d’enquête de la police, paru le 3 avril dernier sur ce dossier, les armes importées par l’EEH servaient à alimenter, entre autres, le gang de « 5 segonn » dirigé par Izo à Village de Dieu et le gang « Kraze Baryè » dirigé par Vitelhomme Innocent à Pernier.
