La DGI annonce la date limite pour renouveler vos plaques d’immatriculation

Dans un avis publié sur son site internet le 30 novembre, la Direction générale des Impôts (DGI) a rappelé aux conducteurs et propriétaires de véhicules qui n’ont pas encore régularisé l’immatriculation de leurs véhicules, qu’ils ont jusqu’au 31 décembre pour se mettre en règle avec la DGI.

L’institution rappelle aux contribuables concernés par l’avis, que les plaques d’immatriculation sont disponibles dans les divers bureaux de l’institution et qu’ils doivent être accompagnés de leur carte d’enregistrement du véhicule, de leur police d’assurance valide, de leur matricule fiscale valide, de leur Certificat de déclaration définitive d’Impôts sur le Revenu, ainsi que de leur pièce d’identité valide, pour toutes demandes de plaques.

Les sanctions et amendes prévues par la loi

« La Direction Générale des Impôts exhorte tous les conducteurs et propriétaires de véhicules à se conformer aux dispositions des articles du décret cité en référence en vue d’éviter les sanctions et amendes prévues par la loi. La DGI les encourage à exiger toujours la preuve de paiement à l’occasion de l’accomplissement de leurs obligations fiscales », peut-on lire dans l’avis. Pour rappel, selon les articles 23 et suivant du décret du 26 mai 2006 régissant la circulation des véhicules, la taxe d’immatriculation est exigible et payable entre le 1er et le 31 du mois de décembre de chaque année. Dans le même décret, l’article 279 stipule que tout véhicule circulant avec une plaque périmée est passible d’une amende.
